Our Mobile Solar Computer Classrooms are at The Heart Of Maendeleo Foundation.
They give us a way to reach People In the remotest of areas with computer skills. The Mobile solar computer classroom brings all the equipment needed to provide computer skills lessons to schools, and libraries , offering a digital curriculum over a period of 2 years. This gives us a way to teach over 200 people a day as we travel the rough roads of Uganda into rural villages where adults and children have never been exposed to the power of computers and the Internet.
For Schools & Communities
The program reaches to both schools and communities. The School Project runs throughout the school calendar year and the Community Project happens once in a while. We have 2 target groups for our classes. Our mobile Solar Computer Classrooms project is target audience from 3-14 years divided into 2 age groups. 3-9 years and 9 - 14 years.
