Ms Hasifah Tushabe - Chairperson:

For the last 10 years, she has worked in the private sector where she has led associations, worked on building strategic partnerships between donors, government, the private sector and local organizations. With a track record of resource mobilization, advocacy and communication, she is a great resource to our foundation.

Ms Leslie Weighill - Vice Chairperson

Leslie is a resourceful and collaborative manager and freelance livelihood and community development consultant from Canada who has lived and worked in Uganda for 17 years. She built and manages a successful innovative Ugandan non-profit organization, The Real Uganda. The organization brings sustainable locally-led social and economic transformation to rural Ugandan communities. Initiatives focus on strengthening livelihoods, capacity building, health, and education. She draws on the support of young international travelers who become self-aware, global citizens by sharing experiences with members of local communities who partake in locally-led, sustainable community development.

Ms. Joan Katambi - Treasurer

Joan is an enterprising professional with a passion for Information Communications Technology and Education, Internet governance and Digital Human Rights. She is currently a Lecturer at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology, a CEO and Founder of the Digital Literacy Initiative in Uganda, a board member at ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU), a secretary general at Internet Society Uganda Chapter and a member of Rotary International.
