Our Mobile Solar Computer Classrooms Are At The Heart Of Maendeleo Foundation. They Give Us A Way To Reach People In The Remotest Of Areas, With Computer Skills. The Mobile Solar Computer Classroom consists of a modified all terrain vehicle equipped with a solar system, low-power laptops, an internet router, a tent, chairs and tables.

The Mobile Solar Computer Classroom brings all the equipment needed to provide computer skills lessons to schools, and libraries , offering a digital curriculum over a period of 2 years. This setup gives us a way to teach over 200 people a day as we travel the rough roads of Uganda into rural villages where adults and children have never been exposed to the power of computers and the Internet. We currently run two Mobile Computer Classrooms that empower over 5,000 people with relevant computer skills every year.
